Repair & Re-Plating Service

 

At Love DK, we want your jewellery to stay with you for as long as possible. To help extend the life of your pieces, we offer repair and re-plating services at a minimal service cost of ₹350.

This service is available exclusively for original Love DK pieces and can be requested only after 6 months from the date of purchase.

1. Eligibility

Our repair and re-plating service applies only to regular wear and tear that may naturally occur over time with handmade jewellery.

This service is not applicable in cases of damage caused by:

·       Misuse

·       Accidental impact

·       Breakage due to force

·       Exposure to water or moisture

·       Exposure to perfume, chemicals, sweat, or cosmetics

·       Improper storage

·       Product alteration by a third party

·       Any damage not arising from regular wear and tear

Love DK reserves the right to assess the product and determine whether it qualifies for repair or re-plating.

2. Service Charges

A service fee of ₹350 will be charged for eligible repair or re-plating requests.

Additional charges may apply depending on the condition of the product, availability of materials, or extent of repair required. If applicable, the customer will be informed before any work begins.

 

3. Shipping Responsibility

Customers are responsible for shipping charges both ways.

This includes:

·       Shipping the product to Love DK

·       Return shipping from Love DK back to the customer

Please ensure the product is securely packed before sending it to us. Love DK will not be responsible for damage caused during transit due to improper packaging.

4. How to Request Repair or Re-Plating

Before sending your item, please email us at:

Use the subject line:

REPAIR – [Order ID]

Please include the following details in your email:

·       Order ID

·       Full name

·       Contact number

·       Clear photographs of the product

·       Brief description of the issue

·       Date of purchase, if available

Once we review your request, we will confirm whether the product is eligible and share the next steps.

Please do not send the product without receiving confirmation from Love DK.

 

5. Important Note

Repair and re-plating services are offered to help extend the life of your Love DK jewellery. However, as each piece is handcrafted and may naturally age over time, the repaired or re-plated item may not look exactly like a brand-new piece.

By requesting this service, the customer acknowledges and accepts the natural limitations of repair and re-plating work.
