Shipping, Returns, Cancellation & Store Credit Policy
At Love DK, every piece is handmade with care, intention, and attention to detail. We believe in creating thoughtfully crafted products and ensuring they reach you safely.
This policy is designed to keep things transparent, fair, and clear for everyone. By placing an order on www.lovedk.in, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms outlined below.
1. Shipping & Delivery
1.1 Free Shipping
We offer free standard shipping on all orders with a cart value above ₹1,499.
Cart value is calculated after discounts and coupon codes have been applied at checkout and cannot be adjusted once an order has been placed.
1.2 Express Shipping
Express shipping is available at ₹350 for select pin codes in:
- Mumbai
- Delhi
- Ahmedabad
- Bangalore
Please note that express shipping charges are non-refundable, as they are paid directly toward expedited logistics services.
1.3 Dispatch & Delivery Timeline
Orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 working days after successful payment confirmation.
Delivery timelines begin from the date of dispatch, not the date the order is placed.
Estimated delivery timelines:
- Standard Delivery: 5–15 working days from dispatch
- Express Delivery: 1–6 working days from dispatch, available for select metro cities
During sale periods, public holidays, long weekends, or high-volume periods, dispatch may take 4–6 working days.
While we always do our best to deliver within the estimated timelines, occasional courier delays may occur due to factors beyond our control.
2. Partial COD
For customers who prefer Cash on Delivery, we offer a Partial COD option.
Under Partial COD, a small advance payment is collected online at checkout to confirm the order. The exact amount will be displayed during checkout. The remaining balance is payable to the delivery partner at the time of delivery.
Important COD Terms
The advance amount paid for Partial COD is non-refundable, as it helps cover order processing and logistics commitments.
This applies in situations including:
- Order cancellation
- Change of mind
- Failed delivery
- Refusal to accept the order
- Customer unavailability
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery details
If the remaining COD balance is not paid at the time of delivery, the shipment will be returned to us and the advance amount will not be refunded.
To ensure a smooth experience for all customers, repeated COD refusals or repeated non-acceptance of orders may result in:
- Access to prepaid-only checkout
- Removal of COD eligibility on future orders
- Limited access to future purchases, where necessary
3. Order Tracking & Delivery Attempts
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email, SMS, and/or WhatsApp.
We recommend keeping an eye on tracking updates and ensuring someone is available to receive the package.
Courier partners generally make up to 3 delivery attempts. If delivery cannot be completed after these attempts, the shipment is returned to us and marked as RTO — Return to Origin.
Love DK cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries resulting from:
- Customer unavailability
- Incorrect address details
- Incomplete address details
- Lack of response to courier communication
- Refusal to accept the order
- Non-payment of COD balance
Customer Responsibility in Case of RTO
If your order is marked as RTO, please contact us at support@lovedk.in with your Order ID and we will do our best to assist.
Customers are encouraged to:
- Monitor shipment tracking updates
- Respond to courier communication
- Provide accurate delivery information
- Inform us of delivery concerns before the shipment is returned
If a reshipment is requested after an order has been returned, additional shipping and handling charges may apply. Reshipment requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to product availability.
4. Delivery Delays
We always strive to dispatch and deliver orders as quickly as possible.
However, courier delays, weather conditions, public disruptions, operational issues, or other unforeseen circumstances may occasionally affect delivery timelines.
We appreciate your patience in such situations and will gladly assist wherever possible.
5. Lost or Undelivered Orders
In the event that a shipment is marked as lost or remains undelivered, the courier partner will initiate a formal investigation.
Investigations may take approximately 4–6 weeks to complete.
During this period, we are required to wait for the logistics partner’s final report before processing any resolution.
Once the investigation is concluded and the shipment is officially confirmed as lost, Love DK may offer:
- A replacement, subject to availability; or
- Store credit equivalent to the eligible order value
As a small business, we are unable to issue cash refunds for lost shipments.
We kindly request customers not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes while an active courier investigation is underway, as this can delay the resolution process.
6. Return Eligibility
We put a lot of love into every piece we create. Since many of our products are handcrafted or produced in small batches, our return process is designed to balance customer support with fair quality control.
6.1 Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Product
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was ordered, we are here to help.
You may request a replacement or store credit by following the steps below.
Mandatory Claim Requirements
1. A clear unboxing video must be recorded while opening the package.
2. The video should begin before the outer packaging is opened.
3. The recording must be continuous and unedited.
4. Please email support@lovedk.in within 48 hours of delivery.
5. Use the subject line:
Defect Claim – [Order ID]
6. Include:
o Order ID
o Unboxing video
o At least 3 clear photographs of the issue
o Photographs of the packaging
Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be eligible for review. However, in exceptional circumstances, we may review requests at our discretion.
Approved Defect Claims
Once approved, we may offer:
- A replacement of the same product; or
- Store credit if a replacement is unavailable
If a replacement is also found to be defective, store credit will be provided as the final resolution.
As a small handcrafted brand, we do not offer cash refunds.
False or Manipulated Claims
To ensure fairness for all customers, claims supported by fabricated, altered, misleading, AI-generated, or manipulated evidence may be declined.
In cases of deliberate misuse, Love DK reserves the right to limit future purchasing privileges or payment options.
7. Non-Defect Returns / Change of Mind
We generally do not offer exchanges for non-defect reasons.
However, in certain cases, a return for store credit may be considered if all eligibility requirements are met.
7.1 Eligibility Conditions
To qualify:
- The product must be unused, unworn, and in original condition
- All tags, packaging, pouches, labels, and accessories must be intact
- The request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
- Email support@lovedk.in
- Use the subject line:
Return Request – [Order ID]
7.2 Products Not Eligible for Return
The following items cannot be returned:
- Sale items
- Promotional purchases
- Flash sale products
- Discounted products
- Customised products
- Personalised products
- Made-to-order pieces
8. Return Shipping
For eligible returns, customers may choose one of the following options:
Option 1: Self-Ship
You may ship the product back to us using a courier service of your choice.
Option 2: Love DK Pickup
Where available, we may arrange a pickup.
A pickup fee of ₹90 will be deducted from the final store credit amount.
Please ensure returned items are packed securely, as products damaged during return transit may not qualify for store credit.
9. Quality Inspection & Store Credit
All returned products undergo a quality inspection within 5–7 working days of reaching us.
If the item shows signs of use, damage, missing packaging, missing tags, or any condition that makes it ineligible for return, it may be sent back to the customer.
If approved, store credit will be issued within 3 working days after inspection.
Applicable deductions may include:
- Forward shipping charges
- Reverse shipping charges
- Pickup charges, if applicable
- Handling charges, if applicable
Store credit:
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Is non-transferable
- Remains valid for 12 months from the date of issue
Unfortunately, expired store credit cannot be reactivated.
10. What Is Not Covered
The following situations are not considered defects:
- Minor colour or texture variations due to the handmade nature of products
- Natural variations in stones, metals, threads, finishes, or materials
- Differences caused by screen settings or display calibration
- Variations due to photography lighting
- Damage caused by misuse
- Improper storage
- Exposure to water, perfume, chemicals, sweat, or moisture
- Normal wear and tear after delivery
- Claims raised beyond the stated reporting window
- Claims submitted without a valid unboxing video
11. Cancellation Policy
Orders are processed quickly so we can begin preparing your pieces as soon as possible.
Because many of our products are handcrafted, made-to-order, or produced in limited batches, production planning may begin within 12 hours of order confirmation.
For this reason, we are generally unable to accommodate:
- Order cancellations
- Product modifications
- Product substitutions
- Delivery address changes
- Accidental or duplicate order requests
- Change-of-mind requests
We kindly encourage customers to review all order details carefully before completing checkout.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
12. Refused Deliveries / RTO
If an order is refused or returned due to customer unavailability, incorrect address details, non-acceptance, or unpaid COD balance, it will be treated as an RTO.
In such cases:
- Forward shipping charges may be deducted
- Reverse shipping charges may be deducted
- Applicable handling charges may be deducted
- Any remaining eligible balance may be issued as store credit
If deductions exceed the order value, no store credit will be available.
To avoid inconvenience, please ensure delivery details are accurate before placing your order.
Repeated refusal of shipments may result in restrictions on COD eligibility.

While we love hearing from you on social media, official requests and claims can only be processed through email to ensure proper documentation and support.
14. Legal Terms
By placing an order on www.lovedk.in, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy.
Love DK’s total liability in relation to any order shall not exceed the invoice value of that order.
We reserve the right to update or modify this Policy from time to time without prior notice.
The version of the Policy applicable at the time of order placement will govern that transaction.
Any contractual or commercial disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai courts.
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights available to consumers under applicable Indian consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
This Policy supersedes prior verbal discussions, messages, social media conversations, or informal communications relating to the matters covered herein.
