Cancellation Policy

 

At Love DK, every piece is made with care, intention, and attention to detail. Many of our products are handcrafted, made in small batches, or prepared specially once an order is placed.

Because of this, our cancellation policy is designed to be transparent and fair while respecting the time, material planning, and effort involved in preparing each order.


1. Order Cancellation

Once an order is successfully placed on www.lovedk.in, it begins moving into our processing and preparation system.

For this reason, orders cannot be cancelled once payment confirmation has been received.

This applies to all orders, including:

·       Prepaid orders

·       Partial COD orders

·       Sale orders

·       Discounted orders

·       Promotional orders

·       Customised orders

·       Personalised orders

·       Made-to-order pieces

We kindly request customers to review their cart, product selection, size, quantity, delivery address, and payment details carefully before completing checkout.


2. Why Cancellations Are Not Accepted

Love DK works with small-batch production and handcrafted processes.

Once an order is confirmed, we may begin:

·       Allocating materials

·       Reserving inventory

·       Preparing packaging

·       Scheduling production

·       Coordinating dispatch

·       Blocking courier capacity

Since these steps may begin shortly after order confirmation, we are generally unable to reverse, cancel, or modify an order once it has been placed.


3. Partial COD Cancellation

For Partial COD orders, the advance amount paid at checkout is non-refundable.

This advance helps cover order confirmation, processing, logistics planning, and packaging commitments.

If a Partial COD order is cancelled, refused, not accepted, or returned due to customer unavailability, the advance amount will not be refunded.

Repeated refusal or non-acceptance of COD orders may result in:

·       Removal of COD eligibility

·       Access to prepaid-only checkout

·       Limited access to future purchases, where necessary


4. Order Modification

Once an order has been placed, we are generally unable to accommodate changes such as:

·       Product change

·       Quantity change

·       Colour change

·       Size change

·       Address change

·       Phone number change

·       Payment method change

·       Combining multiple orders

·       Splitting an order into separate shipments

Customers are requested to check all details carefully before placing an order.

If there is a genuine issue, you may write to us at support@lovedk.in with your Order ID. While we cannot guarantee changes, we will try to assist if the order has not yet moved into processing or dispatch.


5. Duplicate or Accidental Orders

We understand that accidental or duplicate orders can happen.

However, because confirmed orders may move quickly into processing, duplicate or accidental orders are also treated as final once payment confirmation is received.

Please review all order details carefully before completing payment.


6. Refused Delivery / Return to Origin

If an order is refused at delivery or returned to us due to customer unavailability, incorrect address, incomplete address, non-payment of COD balance, or non-acceptance of the package, it will be treated as RTO - Return to Origin.

In such cases:

·       Forward shipping charges may be deducted

·       Reverse shipping charges may be deducted

·       Handling charges may be deducted

·       Any remaining eligible amount may be issued as store credit

If deductions exceed the order value, no store credit will be issued.

No cash refund or bank refund will be provided for refused deliveries or RTO orders.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

7. Sale, Customised & Made-to-Order Products

The following orders are final and cannot be cancelled, modified, returned, or exchanged unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:

·       Sale products

·       Promotional products

·       Flash sale products

·       Discounted products

·       Customised products

·       Personalised products

·       Made-to-order pieces

For damaged, defective, or incorrect products, customers must follow the claim process mentioned in our Shipping, Returns & Store Credit Policy.


8. Brand-Initiated Cancellations

Love DK reserves the right to cancel an order from our side in certain situations, including but not limited to:

·       Product unavailability

·       Inventory error

·       Pricing error

·       Payment issue

·       Serviceability issue for the delivery pin code

·       Suspected fraudulent transaction

·       Repeated COD refusal history

·       Any issue that prevents us from fulfilling the order properly

If Love DK cancels an order from our side, the customer will be informed and an appropriate resolution will be provided.

For prepaid orders cancelled by Love DK, the eligible amount will be refunded to the original payment method or issued as store credit, depending on the situation.

While we may also respond on WhatsApp or Instagram, official order-related requests can only be processed through email to ensure proper documentation and support.


10. Acceptance of Policy

By placing an order on www.lovedk.in, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation Policy.

This policy is part of Love DK’s overall Shipping, Returns, Cancellation & Store Credit terms.
